What if I was not real and neither were you,
what if this was all an illusion that we all had to choose.
What if we picked our characters to learn a lesson or two,
and when it’s all over we always remember who’s who.
What if I chose to do nothing, nothing at all.
I’d probably sit back and watch the simulation fall.
What if I decided to do everything this life offered me?
The world would bleed envy and charge me countless fees.
What if life is hard because we make it that way,
What if stress is just a way we punish ourselves for that pain.
What if that pain was felt through everyone’s skin,
Now thats what I would call collective sin.
What if I was you and you were me,
I’d say be safe this journey’s not free.
Once you enter the unknown please come find me.
