Reset & Restart

Reset & restart yourself as many times as you need too.

Think of the human body like a computer. When it starts glitching and stops responding, what is the first thing we do? Well, we sit there for like 5 minutes clicking to only realize that it’s still doing the same shit and then we hit that restart icon, in hopes that it’ll come back on with a new attitude. 9/10 it does, right? The same goes for us, of course in a more complex way.

There are stressors in this life that require us to stop, reset and restart. I honestly don’t care how much you say you can handle it, everybody needs moments where they can step away from that stress and focus on shifting their mental state. FOR MY OVERACHIEVERS - I love you, you work so hard but you tend to think that you possess the power of Saitama and quite frankly we are not there yet. You have got to give yourself a break from time to time, constantly jam-packing your schedule looks good on paper but how is it looking on your mind/body? Take time for you, sometimes you have to say no to that party so that you can go home, set a bath with some candles and read a good book.

How do I reset & restart if the stressor is too big to ignore, I can’t stop thinking about it? Take a nap. You need to understand that you are bigger than the problem, don’t let it control your mental state. Once you wake, it’ll probably be the first thing that pops into your head again but you are rested with a clearer mind. You should be able to analyze the situation a little better and if you are still frantic that is a sign that you still have some resetting & restarting to do. Give your responsibilities to someone who can manage it, meditate, take yourself on a lunch date, Do something that’ll help clear your mind so when you have to confront that stressor again, the bitch won’t even know you.
