Hopefully, by now everyone has realized relying purely on school taught education is in no way going to teach you all you need to know about this thing called life.
From a young age we are conditioned to go to school, get good grades, go to college and hopefully get a job in the area you studied in. WHAT?! Huh I’m sorry, how do I fix my credit again? What the hell is the difference between a credit and a deduction? Oh, I can’t be an isolated introvert my whole life, I actually have to build connections with people? Sooner or later, we get curious or we end up bumping into the problem down the road and have to figure it out on our own.
The school system is not the only source of educating yourself guys, there are so many resources now - we can self teach. You can expand your mind and your knowledge on pretty much anything you take an interest to. Did you guys know it takes 7 years of consistent work to become a professional at anything? I don’t know about y’all but, school been teaching me the same math for years and that shit look brand new every time I see it - and before y’all say anything, I did it because it was in the curriculum, ok.
What if you were in College but you were also teaching yourself valuable self-development skills (that wasn’t taught in your school & I’m not talking about that b.s FYES) and now you’ve graduated, found yourself a job (which I want to say is real lucky) and you’re on top of your game because you already have the skills other employees are now struggling with.
We have everything at the palm of our hands, all you have to do is put yourself into a mindset to never stop learning - especially about the things you’re passionate about. I know people who came out of school, got a job, and are working in the same job (that they hate btw) and that’s it. LIKE WHAT, you don’t want more?! There are people out here giving out the answers on how to build real wealth, go find it! Get out there, listen to some self-development courses (please) learn new skills in your spare time and my sake, pick up a damn book (it puzzles me why people don’t like reading).
Once you realize that you’re not going to be spoon fed the answers your whole life and you actually have to go out there and find it - it becomes a game of who is going out there and grabbing success and who’s waiting on it. Which one will you be?
