Take it in, carefully

Your brain is the most powerful organ in your body, take in things very carefully.

Every day we are exposed to so much new information, whether we are reading it off our phones as soon as we wake up or hearing it on the news or from somebody. Depending on it’s relevancy to us, the information is either tucked away or “thrown out” and forgotten. But one thing about us (as a collective), we are sometimes unaware of how to take in information and draw our own conclusions. Instead we take the easy way out simply because the equation (being the situation) was already solved for us and now we have what we think is the answer.

If you haven’t realized by now, there is a lot of information out there to throw you off. Nowadays you could have the most credible source get on a public platform and lie, why? Because it sells. So, when you’re taking in information, just how in “Bitch, mind ya own business!” I said when taking in opinions from others, you must process whether it’s bullshit or not - the same applies here.

The way you train your brain to take in information is very important. Now, I’m not out here telling you that everything you here is a bunch of lies, there is a truth in everything - but if you feel something isn’t quite right, do your OWN research (scholarly articles and books are your best bet). Always keep an open mind, think of other possibilities, and dare to think outside the box because you never know where the truth lies.
